Anonymous asked: Question: What's the difference between a Sherlockian and a Holmesian?
It’s just a matter of geography! Holmesian is the traditional word for Sherlock Holmes fans in Britain. Sherlockian was adapted for fans in The United States. While they can be interchangeable, they seem to fall on those lines.

Of course, now I’d venture to say, at least on tumblr, a Holmesian is a Canon follower whereas a Sherlockian is a BBC version follower. Granted, it’s not that simpler but I think that may be where the confusion is coming from.
