“Good old Watson! You are the one fixed point in a changing age.” -Sherlock Holmes, His Last Bow
This quote would not leave my mind until I had made this thing.
Bless the thing.

“Your street hawker’s job was to do away with you, under certain contingency.”
“And you let Moriarty go because of me?”
“I had no choice. I can’t afford to lose you, old fellow.”

Last weekend, I was able to go to 221B Con in Atlanta, thanks to the unbelievable fortune of living just 20 minutes from the host hotel! Here is Lauren and I as Nigel Bruce’s Watson and Basil Rathbone’s Holmes (using the pre-instagram “shitty photoshop skills” technique to make it a little old-timier.)
This was our first time cosplaying anything, so thanks to everybody there for being not only tolerant of our newbie skillz, but super encouraging and welcoming! I’m gonna write up a bigger 221B Con post later with pictures of some awesome people we saw, but here’s us!
P.S. This is the only non-blurry-iPhone picture we have (bad planning), so if you happened to take a picture of us at the con, we’d be thrilled to see it!
Adorable.
