Presenting our summer line-up of episodes! We got a delayed start because of bandwidth issues in June, but we’re back on track and setting up all sorts of goodies for you all!We’re dedicating this summer to the exploration of fandom in all its forms. Holmes fans are some of the best in the world, and are definitely some of the oldest, with over 100 years of fanatic loving of Holmes and Watson behind them. While we’ll mostly be concentrating on the more modern fandom, we invite all sorts of discussion about fandom in general!

In addition to all you see above, we’ll also be interviewing Joe Riggs (mentalist and the “real” Sherlock Holmes x) and Richard IV (Richard IV is an actor, swordsman and an expert on early detective fiction.  Here’s a little taster from his Sherlock Holmes walk. Velvety voiced and perfect timing, he makes for some awfully handsome listening! No surprise to learn that he’s narrated numerous documentaries and audiobooks.) Plus who knows else!

The Baker Street Babes are an all-female group of Sherlock Holmes fans who talk about everything from canon to Cumberbatch, Charles Augustus Milverton to Jude Law, and dancing men to Jeremy Brett. We love Sherlock Holmes and we love having well informed, but also quite fun discussions about it. We’re all young and we’re all females, but we’re all die hard Sherlockians/Holmesian. It’s a demographic within the Sherlock Holmes fandom that is new and growing and doesn’t yet have a voice. We hope to become that voice and we want to prove that we’re not just going to coo over Robert Downey Jr and Benedict Cumberbatch, as lovely as they are, but that we know the canon and want to have discussions about it as well.
